Observer AM Interview – WINC Acceleration Program 2017

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, 10 July, 2017 — Applications are now open for the WINC Acceleration Program 2017. This WINC Accelerator Programme will equip growth-oriented Female Entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills to build the foundations for their business growth by driving focus, development of strategic relationships and ready to access growth capital.

In studio on Observer’s AM Show was Ms. Sandra Baptist, WINC Acceleration Program Facilitator for Antigua and Barbuda. along with Lisa Abraham (a 2016 graduate of the program). The ladies encouraged Women in Antigua and Barbuda to apply for this Acceleration Program in order to propel their businesses to the next level. The initiative is part of the Entrepreneurship Program for Innovation in the Caribbean (EPIC), funded by the government of Canada and implemented by the World Bank’s infoDev program for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The WINC Acceleration Program is an eight-month peer learning program which begins in November 2017. This Acceleration Program is designed to help growth-oriented women entrepreneurs innovate within their businesses, and have the self-confidence to make the necessary changes to improve their competitiveness and boost their growth.  Participants will benefit from a suite of services including business and personal development, one-to-one mentoring, technical workshops and motivational sessions.
