Business Growth Advisor and Coach, Sandra Baptist, is Antigua/Barbuda’s Country Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED)
St. John’s, Antigua (July 19, 2015) – Sandra Baptist, a #1 International Best-Selling Author and Founder of the Antigua Barbuda Association of Small Business Owners (ABASBO) has been selected as Antigua/Barbuda’s Country Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED).
Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is celebrated on November 19th and aims to empower women and inspire girls in business globally.
Baptist, who will represent worldwide, the country of Antigua and Barbuda was nominated and selected by the WED Central Selection Committee at the United Nations Headquarters to act as the official WED Spokesperson at Country level and as the official representative to WED Global Community.
“As the Country’s Ambassador, my goal will be to raise awareness on WED – its aims, activities and results; to map, reach and engage stakeholders while building effective Country synergies and coalitions,” states Sandra Baptist, who is also a Business and Financial Strategist.
“I will also have to coordinate the liaison of activities with the central organization, to strengthen the impact of our joint (global) activities through dissemination and visibility activities mostly at the Country level,” the certified accountant and business coach explained.
“I am excited to be selected and am looking forward to twin our 1st Annual ABASBO conference with a Women’s Entrepreneurship Day event on November 19th 2015 that will encourage, empower and support both men and women small business owners in Antigua & Barbuda to start, manage and effectively grow their businesses.” Baptist added.
