St. John’s, Antigua, 28 May 2019 – FasterCapital is pleased to announce that this year we will have an exclusive new round of funding dedicated to Women. We believe that women are struggling in proving themselves in the entrepreneurship scene. FasterCapital believe that it can help female entrepreneurs through its incubation program (where it becomes the technical co-founder and invest 50% of the money needed for the startup).
This exclusive round will focus ONLY on women and will be open between 16.06.2019 until 15.07.2019. Any startup that has a female founder can apply to this round. Please if you have any suggestions or commentaries regarding this exclusive round or even suggestions of how to spread the word out, then please don’t hesitate to share them with us.
Acceleration Program
In the acceleration program, the startup can use the resources provided by FasterCapital such as mentorship, marketing study, feasibility study, technical consultation, new sales channels and financing. For financing, we will be helping the startup to improve how it presents itself, pitch it in front of our investor networks and get their feedback to the startup. In case there is an interest, the founders will get a direct call from the investor. Our acceleration program provide non-exclusive contract to startups, i.e. entrepreneurs can still raise capital on their own!
Incubation Program
Our goal is to help non-technical entrepreneurs build a successful technical start-up, thereby allowing the start-ups founders to focus on other key areas, such as refining their products/services, focusing on business development, sales and other important non-technical aspects. The incubation program is also open for technical entrepreneurs who don’t have a full team to build the product. We work on our unique model: co-founding and co-funding. Simply it means that FasterCapital will become a technical co-founder for the startup and will build its products from A-Z. We will also be ready to invest 50% (or in some cases more) of the capital needed and invest in the startup (even from the idea stage). Of course acting as a co-founder is not limited only to development but rather to thinking about the startup, its market, products and how we can improve the chances of the startup to be successful and generate income.
