Antigua and Barbuda to join 144 countries in celebrating Women’s Entrepreneurship Day
St. John’s, Antigua (October 10, 2017) – Women in Antigua & Barbuda will be joining in the worldwide celebration of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) on November 19th 2017. WED celebrates, empowers, and supports women in business worldwide.
Local businesswoman Sandra Baptist is the United Nation’s World Ambassador: Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Antigua and Barbuda. She explained that WED is celebrated in 144 countries globally and aims to empower 4 billion women and inspire 250 million girls in poverty globally.
To celebrate this day, Ms. Baptist will be hosting “The Ignite! Retreat: Fueling Women’s Entrepreneurship” on November 15th 2017 at the Halcyon Cove by Rex Resort from 12 noon to 4:00pm. Baptist says, “At the retreat, which is open to aspiring entrepreneurs as well as women who are already in business, we will focus on Inspiration, Global business, Networking, Impact, Team-building and raising your Energy to run your business while keeping it exciting. This will be an inspiring and captivating retreat and networking Event for Women in Business, Women Leaders and Young Women who aspire to run successful businesses.”
